School History

The Canadian Homeopathic Institute was founded in 1999 by Shahram Ayoubzadeh, N.D., director of Integral Health Clinic. A naturopathic doctor who has studied homeopathy extensively and makes it the focus of his practice, Shahram Ayoubzadeh found that good homeopathic training was largely inaccessible to most people and sought to remedy that problem. Through the Canadian Homeopathic Institute, a medical background is not required to participate successfully in homeopathic courses. Shahram Ayoubzadeh also discovered that most courses focus primarily on traditional lectures on philosophy and principles, rather than actual case study. His experience is that a hands-on approach, through extensive study of real patient cases, ensures greater practical results.

The Canadian Homeopathic Institute began with the Advanced Prescriber's Course, a three-year program, but has since expanded to include Introductory courses and Distance Learning.

Homeopathic medicine is a very powerful method of healing, and anyone who studies it has greatly seen its advantages.
